He specializes in the capture and veterinary care of some of South Africa’s most endangered species, including the southern white rhinoceros, black rhinoceros, African elephant, cheetah, African wild dog, African lion, Temminck’s ground pangolin, and many other species.

  • Do I need to sign up for Bronze (Level 1) before Silver (Level 2), Gold (Level 3) or Platinum (Level 4)?

    Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum are designed to fit different budgets and are not needed to be taken in order. Bronze is the lowest price package and includes the basics. Silver includes everything from Bronze plus video lessons and transcripts. Gold includes everything from Bronze and Silver plus case studies, ecology and e-books. Platinum includes everything from Bronze, Silver and Gold plus with this option you get access to all content on-demand from day 1 rather than waiting for monthly drip-fed lessons.

  • Will all information, lessons and resources be released at once and are they available on-demand?

    They are all drip fed courses except Platinum. This means lessons and content are released monthly. You will not have access to everything from day 1 which means 12 months is the minimum length of time needed to go through all information. If you would like everything available from day 1 and on-demand then please purchase Wildlife Vet Online (Platinum) or our individual wildlife courses in the African Wildlife category.

  • How long will I have access to Wildlife Vet Online?

    All subscription options are available for as long as you are a subscriber and you can cancel at any time. They are, however, available by default on your account for 365 days regardless of whether you buy the monthly or annual price option unless you cancel your subscription. If you do not cancel your subscription before your renewal date, the next subscription period will be charged for.

  • Do I have to be a qualified vet to attend the Wildlife Vet Online course?

    All Wildlife Vet Online course levels are primarily designed for vet medicine and vet nurse students, however they have become equally useful for vet professionals and wildlife conservation professionals. Similarly, bioscience students (such as zoology, ecology, marine science etc) have made use of the courses with great success. You do not have to be a qualified vet or conservation professional to find the courses useful. The different levels are designed for different budget levels - the more expensive the more information and lessons you’ll get. Finally, you do not have to do Bronze before Silver or Gold.

  • If I am thinking about studying veterinary medicine, is Wildlife Vet Online a good course to learn about the industry?

    Wildlife Vet Online is specific to wildlife veterinary medicine and wildlife conservation in South Africa. If those topics interest you then this course would be a terrific addition to your learning and development.

  • Is Wildlife Vet Online (Gold) the most cost effective option?

    Yes - Individual modules (like African Elephants, African Rhinos etc) are more expensive than Wildlife Vet Online (Gold) and you pay one off, but with the benefit that you get all content in one go and therefore you will be able to be in more control of your learning. Wildlife Vet Online (Bronze, Silver and Gold) can be paid for monthly, is cheaper than the individual modules (like African Elephants, African Rhinos etc), and can be cancelled at any time as lessons are released month by month.
